Thérèse has taught in and administered preschool programs, conducted extensive training of caregivers and parents, and written numerous handbooks and training guides for various audiences.  She is co-author of Early Childhood Champions: Exceptional Administrators of School-Based Programs for Young Children, published by the National Association of State Boards of Education.  (Download the document as PDF here.)  She has garnered funding for creative partnerships with the business community on behalf of children and families and spearheaded a regional campaign in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area to recruit foster parents.  Thérèse directs Global Homestead, Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen communities and their members through the arts, the natural environment, and innovative education.
